Straight from the students.
Martha:
Let me express my sincere thanks to you and your staff for the excellent retreat. The hard work and attention to detail which went into the presentation was obvious and I am certainly glad that I was able to attend.
Warren M.
Again, my compliments to the material provided by TechniTrader. The excellent indicator analysis tools provided are heads & shoulders above any analysis conducted prior to my coursework! I'm still a newbie and learning every day.
John W.
Hello Martha:
Just a quick note to say hello and let you know I've completed the TechniTrader Methodology Study Course & How to Position Trade.
My husband and I took the courses together. We have our own office space, computers, my track account and all necessary online trading tools. We bounced information and questions off each other which really helped us clear up a lot of questions.
Also, my brother, who completed the course approx 4 years ago, started trading, making money and decided to retire early convinced me that this was something I wanted to be a part of.
My brother has been our own personal trading instructor. We scheduled every Wednesday for web conferences and he made himself available for guidance and questions. His help has kept us focused and on the right path, avoiding a lot of pitfalls and mistakes. Keeping us focused is what he did best.
As I continue to practice, I've decided that I am both a position trader, studying fundamentals over the weekend and selecting stocks for my watch list by Sunday night and swing trading through the week looking for buy signals for next day orders. It seems to be working. I currently have 4 practice position trades in the money which I do weekly maintenance and search for swings through the week.
Thanks so much for the training. The video's, booklets, worksheets and customer service is all set up for an excellent learning experience.
Trading wisely!
Olivia M.
I appreciate your effort. I have gained a lot of faith in TechniTrader and I can see that Martha is one very smart and pragmatic woman. I really appreciate that she has made her knowledge available to people like myself. She has definitely gained my respect and has become my market educational guru.
Daniel
I would also at this time like to thank you and Howard for the extremely well done lessons! You both are very easy to watch and listen to, thank you.
Linda G.
I beleive the educational service offered by TechniTrader as directed by Martha, is second to none and a good investment for anyone who is interested in participating in the market. So for now a very big Thank You to Martha for the very easy to understand and Gold standard course.
Lou R.
Dear Martha,
Your teachings and courses have been such a blessing.
Eugene G.
Dear Sir/madam
I am responding to the recent copy of your most informative newsletter, the profit hunter, written by the learned and revered Ms. Martha Stokes. I would like to also say that I have enjoyed reading her wise and right-on-the-money commentaries about the markets. God, she really knows her stuff. More grease to her elbows. On the strength of her and Mr. H. Johnson's expertise as viewed on the free DVD recently sent to me, I have decided I have to be TechniTrader-trained.
Sincerely,
Melvin D.
Dear Martha,
I am a new student and I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the wonderful work you have done in creating this course. Last night, while listening to CD #7 and the history with your grandfather, I began to imagine how you must have felt as a young woman with a desire to engage and compete in a profession that was dominated by a male attitude. I'm sure it took a lot of courage and determination on your part to overcome this attitude and I applaud you for your efforts and achievements. What you have learned has become a blessing for many.
When I first listened to your advertisement CD, something resonated within me and I KNEW I wanted to learn what YOU had to teach about the market. I perceive you as a very practical, knowledgeable and confident person with a great deal of Market Savvy, who has structured a market course that is not only affordable, but a course that is also designed and taught in such a way as to make it clear and easy to grasp. It is certainly more comprehensive than the lessons I learned with my previous market training. It is people like you, Martha, through dedicated contributions, who make dreams possible for others to follow and the world a better place because of the help you offer. For this I am grateful beyond words.
I too have a burning desire to learn how to be an effective and profitable trader in the market. I began my trading experience with TMTT from an infomercial about 2&1/2 years ago. This was a very expensive course that left me feeling I had not received competent training for the amount this course cost me. After practicing this training, I managed to turn $6,000.00 into about $1200.00 over a period of about two years by applying (to the best of my ability) what I had been taught during their course of study. Isn't it supposed to go the other way?! I started out trading stocks, but soon began trading options after taking TMTT=92s options course. I always felt like something was missing with the training I received and I never felt I had adequate support with TMTT=92s course of study. I did come away, however, with a lot more knowledge about the market than I had prior to taking their course. I just haven=92t made any money at it so far.. ;-)
For the past year and one half, I have placed all my trades through Options Express. About four weeks ago I received a phone call from a Representative at Options Express asking how my trading experience was progressing. I explained to him that I was not doing well and had decided to put it on hold for a while. I was feeling very disappointed and frustrated. I didn't want to spend another $12,000.00 plus for more courses with TMTT, yet I still wanted to learn to become an effective and profitable trader. I felt at a loss for direction. Then this rep proceeded to tell me about TechniTrader and suggested I contact you and learn about your program and what it had to offer. In all honesty, I was reluctant to proceed with his suggestion as I had the feeling there would be an exorbitant cost attached to yet another course of study, as there was with TMTT. However, I finally decided I had nothing to lose by at least investigating what you had to offer, so I applied for your TechniTrader information CD. After listening to your CD, I felt a new spark of hope in the possibility of becoming a profitable trader. When I spoke with Monty Cook and he gave me the price of your course, I nearly fell out of my chair. Something within me told me I had finally found that which I had been seeking. I experienced the distinct feeling that I had finally found a reliable program, run by honest and dedicated people, who were genuinely interested in helping others become educated in realistic market investing practices. I now believe that phone call I received from the rep at Options Express was the answer to a long standing prayer. Now that I have become engaged with the material, there is a new light within me that enables me to face the future with the possibility that the financial success I desire is now within my grasp. I am a very independent guy, a builder of beautiful estate homes, but I would sit at your feet with rapt attention to learn what you have to teach me about the market. Thanks to you, I now feel I will be able to meet my financial goals and secure my families future. You have no idea how much this dream means to me, so thank you, Martha, for all your hard work and dedicated effort to bring this teaching to all of us who have the desire to learn. We need more people like you in the world.
Warm regards,
Daniel
Dear Martha:
As a clinical practitioner with over 40 years experience in public health, academic, and private practice settings, I have never encountered a smart business person who would dissect the mess of our American healthcare system with the compassion and accuracy of your analysis.
You are truly a remarkable person.
Your student,
Eugene G.
My trading is going great. Your course was really really helpful, I am very happy I've taken it! I've been trading for about 4-6 months now and I've been quite successful. I' am very careful with stocks I pick, and by placing stop loss orders I managed to prevent major losses. I really appreciate your scans; they helped me to find some very good picks! I've already doubled my original investment! I am very happy.
Gabriela
This course is wonderful. It has dispelled confusion and made the fundamentals clear, logical and doable. This course is couched in common sense. I knew this information had to exist somewhere! But after 5 years with my other education company, I've yet to hear mention of this essential foundation knowledge.
Thank you.
Rick S.
I am on my disk 9 Fundamentals and can=92t wait until the end to tell you how impressed I am. It is simply unbelievable. Hands down the best learning, highest quality material I have ever read. Rich in content, easy to follow, and smart, smart, smart!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so lucky. Have a great day!
Alex R.
Dear Martha and TechniTrader,
I really enjoyed this article it was most informative.
Thank you for this and all the other analyses that you have been doing.
Elsie C.
Hi,
I want to thank Martha for the TechniTrader course. I have traded stocks for several years with mixed results. My results were driven by the usual suspects: lack of knowledge and poor habits. I love the TechniTrader approach and while I haven't put on any live trades yet (still paper trading due to the current market) I feel confident I have the tools to succeed.
Steve
Hi,
This was one of the best DME's I have seen. Rich in thinking process details with several examples to review and compare my inexperienced evaluation to Martha's. Sitting on the shoreline mending my nets, waiting to get the advice that the fish are running, watching the surface of the ocean, every wave starts to look the same. This DME gave me something to participate in even if it was to be told not to be fishing those waters yet. Thank you for that rich DME.
Chris M.
Hello,
I just want to say that I have appreciated all the timely responses to all my questions. I was apprehensive in the beginning about e-mailing questions 1st before requesting a phone call, but it has worked out better than I thought. I had one instance that I needed a call back to clear up an issue and got a call the next day. And she was very helpful. So I tip my hat to everyone.
Thanks,
Rick
You are like the best teacher I've ever had for something I had a desire to do. I am grateful you can be there to help me and any of the other students enjoy reading your email support on technical analysis from every trading day. This training really means a lot to me even though I'm just a beginner and learning how to do this. I wanted to learn trading around 10 years ago but I couldn't find the right instruction and the free time to do it.
Thank you,
Terry A.
To entire TechniTrader team,
I would like to take a moment from my hectic schedule and thank all of those people that were literally with me during this entire rocky year. I can tell you it was not pretty out there this year but with your help I was able to keep my head above the water.
Best wishes,
Misak B.
Dear Martha, Howard, and the rest of the awesome TechniTrader Team,
Thank you so much for the incredible and ongoing education you provide. I took the Methodology and Position courses, and paper-traded for about eight months. This past October I went live, and I'm up about $3,300. I'm winning 63% of my trades, and am working to get that percentage to 75%-80%. My dollar gain/loss ratio is about 3:1, which makes me happy. But the main thing is, the money truly is not important. Trading well is everything, and that is what you've taught me. Everything I've learned in the courses, lab classes, and daily e-mails bears out in the real world of the market. If I didn't know better, I'd think you were all psychic. What you are is smart and generous. I just received the Indicator course, and can't wait to devour it.
Also, I have to say that having reviewed the Methodology Course 4 or 5 times now, every time I view it I catch something I missed before. Literally. You can't watch those DVD's too many times. There is so much in there. My family is now on the get-rich-slowly-but-surely plan thanks to you all, and you've done nothing less than handed us the keys to the kingdom of freedom. I can't thank you enough.
Sincerely yours,
Sparky M.
Faculty of TechniTrader:
I have been studying The Definitive Guide to Stock Indicators which arrived a few days ago and I wish to express my appreciation for it. The course was superb and the added touch of providing the DVD's and updated copy of the guide book is once again an example of the unequaled education by TechniTrader. These come to us without additional charge. I've got to love you guys.
I can go over and over these lessons until I have them firmly in my mind. From the book and the DVD's into my mind is the goal. I am doing just that. As far as I know nobody has ever done as comprehensive a job of stock market investment education as you have. I wish I would have had it years ago. I would be in much better shape today.
Thanks a million,
Jim K.
Hi Martha,
Thank you so much for personally replying to my email. Your DME lessons are helping a lot and now I am able to find more and better picks. Also, the lab courses are excellent. I am paper-trading and keeping the trade journal up-to-date. Every day is exciting in terms of education.
Once again I thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating such a wonderful course for us small investors/traders.
Regards,
Supriya
Martha,
Thanks for another very informative newsletter. In case you wanted to have something to show prospective customers of the daily market newsletter, I thought I would send this to you by way of a "thank you" and a testimonial for others.
By way of introduction for others, I have been trading for approx. 12 years. Only the last 5 have been consistently good to me, the last 2 (since taking the Methodology Course) have been the best of all the years.
That being said, although I am confident in my trading, I don't consider myself in the upper ranks of good traders and welcome all the "good" information I can get. I have been through several different stock market courses, most of which were decent, all of which were massively more expensive than yours, but none that were as in depth and complete.
I don't know what percentage of your students subscribe to your newsletter, but I can't imagine anyone thinking that they don't need this newsletter, other than someone who is suffering from a massive dose of ignorance. It can't be the expense of the newsletter, because anyone who has even the slightest amount of market knowledge will be able to use the information they get to more than pay for the subscription cost.
I specifically liked this newsletter, because it covers an immense amount of market knowledge. NOT just for the stock you are highlighting.
Martha is a very good teacher, in fact the best one I have ever had over the years of my learning.
Again thanks,
BOB D.
Dear Martha,
A short note saying thank you for teaching this little guppy how to jump out of the fish bowl in to the reef .. great analogy . It is a big reef with lots of big fish. For now I am living in the seaweed; it is a safe place while I learn how to safely swim in the vastness of it all. Your lessons keep me focused and learning. One day this little guppy will be able to swim on her own, avoiding the dangers of being eaten alive! You are a super teacher and I consider myself very lucky.
Sincerely,
Cindy M.
We seem to be very well matched through the BuddySystem. What a great idea TT had with this. You're always thinking and your students very much appreciate your continued service to student training excellence!
Missy S.
Martha and gang,
I am very happy to be a student at "TechniTrader COLLEGE". I will recommend you to anyone and thanks for all the help you have given me when I needed it.
BOB
Martha and Howard,
Thanks for presenting the Technical Indicators course this past weekend. It was delightful to meet you both as well as your fine employees.
Thanks also for the introduction to Blocks. With my limited time at present, you gave me enough introduction to customize and explore Blocks without expending other precious resources. I probably would not have looked further into Blocks without your introduction, especially after being unimpressed with SnapSheets. However, now I have entered a subscription to Blocks for the coming year.
Jack G.
GOOD TEACHER BRILLIANT! I just read your email on the long term portfolio discussion. As I was reading it you beat me to the point about how you always incorporate your ideas into your daily emails to teach us.
Congratulations, again.
Steve
Hello Ms. Stokes,
Recently I received my Decisions Unlimited,Inc.'s diploma in the mail. I was not expecting that. I already knew you ran a class act but to push the details to such an extent is quite amazing! Thank you very much. The last time I received a diploma was in 1975 and that was when I graduated in Law School at the University of Ottawa (Canada). It took me twenty years of schooling to get to that point. You can only imagine how happy I was then. But what you must know is that today I am as proud as I was then to receive the diploma your teaching establishment has granted me. I will treasure it and you and Mr. Johnson can count on me to frame it properly in hang it in a prominent place in my apartment. Thank you very much again.
Regards,
Pierre G.
After listening to the Webinar tonight, I got really excited for 2 reasons.
- I understood the entire presentation and it re-iterated what I am learning in The Methodology and Position Traders Course.
- Based on many of the questions that were asked, I realized I'm a step ahead of several of those attending. Tell Martha that I am very happy.
Thanks,
Rick
Hey Kathy;
I thought I would let you know that I finally got time over this past weekend and was able to dive in to the material, and I have to tell you I thought it was excellent. I've completed about 4 disks and am looking forward to this weekend so I can continue. As you can imagine most of the beginning material I already knew but as I progress I'm learning many things I didn't know.
Thanks again,
Thom
Martha,
Thank you so much. You're the absolute best. Your staff and people associated with you also tell me a lot about where you are coming from. They are great as well. I am so glad I found you on the Web.
Thanks,
David C
First I want to thank Ms. Stokes and Mr. Johnson for creating the Options Series. To me this is very exciting. The idea of being taught by one of the only 800 people in the World holding a C.M.T. is a guarantee of unsurpassed expert teaching methods and of intellectual rigor. Options are what I want to specialize in. Since Stock Options derive from Underlying Stocks I soon realized I needed to get me a solid education in Technical Analysis. I thank Providence for making me click on the TechniTrader ad when searching the internet to find what I needed. So, I began with the Methodology Course and soon upgraded to the Position Course after discovering that both Position and Options Trading were Siamese twins insofar as trading styles were concerned. To me this was a marriage made in Heaven! I have also studied the Candlesticks and Indicators Courses. I have faithfully read my DME's and PTW's along with Labs, checked Market Conditions making my Journal Entries. And I paper trade, paper trade and paper trade again and again while trying to pay attention to nuances and details as taught. All this conditioning has given me the self confidence and focus required to re-invent myself as a trader with the maximum chances of success after a first career in the practice of law in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, Canada. The patience and kindness of my Tutor, Therese Dunn, have also greatly contributed to sharpen my analysis reflexes and daily education. Now, equipped with this unparalleled launching pad, I can realistically think that my journey can be confidently steered in the direction I originally intended it to go, Options.
Pierre.
Martha,
Tonight, as I read your DME for Tues, I am smiling and jumping for joy. Why, you ask? Because I had analyzed SMCI on Sunday night EXACTLY as you defined it today. Right down to the financials.
I have felt my abilities improving but to have confirmation like this helps greatly to reinforce all that I have learned. I still paper traded quite a bit as I have been burnt in the past.
Thanks for all the constant training and reinforcement.
I live to trade another day.
Patti
Thank you for the documents. I was doubting my judgment for a minute there. I'd like to inform you that I recently had my first two successful trades. These are my first trades since I took the course. I made a 30% or 10 point gain on the first with BNS, and a 20% or 6 point gain on the second with TCK.B. I was stopped out of my second trade and I learnt a lot from those two trades. I can't tell you how many trades that would have went the wrong way if I hadn't practiced the control entry method. Thanks you for your guidance.
Paul
Hi Therese,
Thanks for the confirmation on Bollinger Bands settings. I thought you might like to know that in the past I have spent a fortune and a great deal of time trying to get a grasp on options and always felt like I was still swimming around in the dark. But this course has made complete sense to me and all the missing links and questions have been answered. There is so much "hype" around options, and as a novice you don't know who to believe and you find yourself spending a lot of money only to end up more confused. Martha and Howard have put everything into a solid perspective and have given me a solid foundation where I can practice and improve, knowing that I am on the right track. In the end I learnt the "Greeks" but am so relieved to learn it is an imperfect science and it is the tactical approach that brings all the success. So many thanks to Martha and Howard and all the team. You have certainly taken out all that frustrating mystery in learning how to trade options wisely.
Best wishes,
Kaaren
Martha,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful response to my email. I couldn't agree with your perspective more. The way you put it could possibly revolutionize the way I do business. Marketing experts are stressing to me that we need to be distinctive in the marketplace. This approach could work. Thank you for putting together a series of courses that allows us to progress. I have been shocked that in this industry we ( Financial Planners) have to seek out where to find the correct knowledge or follow the pack. It is refreshing to not have to get a bunch of info and then figure out by trial and error if it was accurate. I will continue to refer you to my colleagues and hope they take the advice.
Again, I appreciate your time, I know it is valuable.
David C.
Dear Martha:
I am a new student of the Methodology and Position Trader courses and a novice trader.
I want to thank you for the practical, honest, and sincere approach TechniTrader has taken toward educating its students.
Larry W.
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the trial newsletter. I have watched several of Martha's free training videos, and watched a webinar at Worden re; TSV and Rate of change. While looking at fundamentals somewhat, I am proud to say I am now a student of Tech Analysis; and trader/risk manager, starting about 8 months ago. Thank you for the "Springboard " candlestick pattern, I have already used that in my analysis.
Doug G.
I am so appreciative of TechniTrader with Martha and Howard's incredibly organized and thorough approach. For the last year I have been gathering information and self teaching which is as dangerous as self medicating. I was at the point that the more I learned, the more confused I was becoming. I created my own charts with a dozens of indicators (in beautiful colors I must add) and would just stare blankly at them. It was just by fluke that a new search engine appeared on my windows live account "Bing" and ping, your site popped up. It really scares me to think how naive and ill-equipped I was and that I most certainly would have had some nasty lessons.
Thanks so much for all your help in getting me on track.
Best Regards,
Gillian
Hopefully this writing will serve to thank several people at TechniTrader.
I have as many say "dabbled in the stock market" but must admit have been quite roughed up in my trading lately.
Fortunately I contacted you to inquire about your training courses. I know that I peppered you with all kinds of questions but you seemed to relate to me and patiently, pleasantly described exactly what your training consisted of and just what it could and could not do.
As you know I have since become a student in both the Technical Analysis and also the Options courses. I could write on and on of how pleased I am with the enormous amount of investing information I now have access to BUT my real intention is to say THANKS, - - here is why.
There was a point in the Options Course that I could understand a chapter and needed help, you connected me with your technical analyst, Teresa Dunn who literally took hold of my hand and gently coached me through my difficulty, I was really impressed.
Another time another problem, I telephoned; you were in conference so I left a voice mail message for you. It was late 4 in the afternoon Friday. Later that day I received a call from Howard Johnson, CEO and co-founder of TechniTrader, he wanted to know how he could help with my problem. You could have knocked me over with the proverbial "feather". What executive with what organization would answer my call for help AFTER business hours. Mr. Johnson did that.
This kind of thoughtful customer service is unheard of, the best imaginable. I want to sincerely thank you, Ms. Dunn and Mr. Johnson for your speedy personal responses satisfying my concerns.
Please convey to Miss Stokes my appreciation of the integrity and niceness of her staff at TechniTrader. They certainly serve their students. It is no surprise that her organization is rated A+ by the Better Business Organization.
I truly have enjoyed your Methodology course to this point and look forward to the e-mail section of it. Your course has given me new hope that I can accomplish my goals and that someday soon I might not have to depend on someone else to support my family. It was truly a blessing from above that I re found your site and took the steps needed to take the course and I didn't break the bank in doing so. I know that you could charge triple or more for this course, but thank you for not being a typical greedy corporation. Thank you for all you help and your course, I plan to teach it to my wife and children when I get to be home more, and I've already been telling my other friends and family about it!
Martha,
Thank you so much for all of the valuable information in this email. I am going to put it up next to my desk and follow every point. I feel like you wrote this just for me. Thank you. You provide such a valuable service. I don't know of anyone else who cares as much as you do in all of my past courses. I know I'll make it through this and will be successful (thanks to you). I hope to take the masters courses next year as I'm more successful and eventually trade full time. If that happens, I'll owe it all to you!
Thank you again!!!!!
Eileen
You know what was such a good feeling? While I was listening to the questions at the webinar, I realized how much more I know about market conditions and certain indicators, compared to many others that were listening in. Really important stuff too! I know I am still a baby at all this, but it was a real confidence booster! I feel so blessed to be a TechniTrader student. I'm so glad I didn't go with another company and learn "average" information.
Joy
Hello Martha & Therese,
Today I listened to the recording of Martha's webinar (live would have been 3am my time)...and I must say it really reinforced everything that was taught in the course so very well. I also picked up a lot of extra tips, especially the 6 different market conditions. Congratulations Martha on such a well presented webinar that you explained in such understandable terms. Hope you do more.
Many best wishes,
Kaaren W.
Greetings,
Today saw a net gain of 7 points. Highest day ever for me. Neat. My stop losses have been adjusted. It is simply NEAT to reap some returns/rewards. Finally!
Thank you for your continued help and guidance. This could be a fun (yet disciplined) way to make some money. Eventually I will venture into the higher price range (as well as added shares), but for now, I am still getting comfortable with this business.
Harry S.
Adrienne,
Thank you very, very much for the excellent reply! It's great to be back in school with Prof Martha running the class. After the Naval Academy, aerodynamics in pilot training, then med school and residency the brain is still working....at least I hope so. So far the organization and materials have been surpassed only by the support staff!
Thanks again,
John W.
Dear Martha:
Pardon the famililiarity, but after over a month of DVDs every evening it
seems natural.
On advising subscription everything is ready for the e lessons, this will acquaint you with me and my situation. After several years of stock investing, moving to Mutual Funds and then to managed accounts with Merrill, I won't bore you with the rest. My goal is to recoup losses and take back control of my investments with the discipline which should have been in place before. My personality and goals best fit Swing trading with some Position trading. In this recovery, longer positions will no doubt occur, but looking at investments only every two weeks or so seems unacceptable to me.
I found the Methodology course very exciting and informative. Looking ahead to a great recovery and participating in it.
Charles D.
Martha,
I couldn't be more flattered for you to take the time to respond to my queries! I've been very interested in the Market for years, and with your methodology, I feel I can enter trades with some confidence (the rest has to come from within me I know :-)).
I have several friends that want to start an Investment Club with me. Our plan is that they have a little background with fundamentals, and I share with them if and when the charts would show a good time to enter a trade. Could be a good team effort, but our timing hasn't been too suitable (we started to get together in November). However, we feel that our timing is good for getting organized and trying to be ready when the market becomes ready!
Extremely nice to have your team there when I need, and I have really enjoyed learning from your DVD's.
Thank you again for your time!
Karen
Good morning Ladies,
I have just finished reading that fantastic educational text about the Federal Reserve. I always had a weak spot for History. I really was well served with this discussion. For non American citizens I find that the content of those pages is absolutely essential and mandatory to a good understanding of all that is now so fast happening and to provide an excellent "discerning" weapon to defend against all of the Voodoo Witchcraft that is disseminated by the Media. Thank you very much for that initiative. I really appreciate it.
Pierre
I want to let you know that I had our thirteen year old grandson read your DME on Monday about the teen blog that you are starting and he has asked me every night since then if it is ready yet. He has been interested ever since I have been with TechniTrader, 2 years, and I try to explain the markets to him but I seem to be unable to explain it at his level of understanding as I am still learning myself. He has been watching and asking questions for the better part of two years and he has watched parts of the Methodology course CD's. What a great idea I am so glad that he is interested and that you have come up with a way for him to learn and understand!
Thank you so very much,
Steve P.
I just wanted to say to all of you, job well done putting all of this together. I didn't realize the extent of the overhead you guys had with the number of people participating, posting their charts, reading all of their inputs, and analyzing them. Very impressive.
Second, please leave this stuff up as long as possible. Needless to say, carefully going through even only one group's postings will take a long time. This is a great opportunity that shouldn't be passed up. Going through another groups thought process will be enlightening, I'm sure, and is a great way to pick others people's brains and glean some knowledge from them. Kind of like having an extended fire-side chat/professional exchange with others in the same field.
Again, thank you for doing this Case Study - well appreciated.
Greg
Dear Martha,
I don't mean to waste your time my dear...but I must say your daily updates are so stimulating and informative. I do a lot of reading and your writing style is fabulous. Have you written a book? If so, how can I buy one?
If not, PLEASE DO IT MARTHA. God gave you a gift, use it to the fullest. I read daily updates from 5 other industry professionals and yours is so far ahead....it's almost back in the rear...lol
Your second biggest fan.
Dave
Martha,
Thanks for your reply concerning Risk Management. I am looking forward to it. I can honestly say that I have never enjoyed learning so much, than I have since being with TechniTrader. I am pleasantly tired when I close out each day. It is a refreshing tired and I really sleep well each and every night and refreshed each morning.
Again Thank You,
BOB D.
Martha's assignments are very thought provoking and gave me a focus I have never had in attempting to do LT research. It is challenging for me to keep my focus. So having weekly assignments keep leading me through the process.
And deadlines were important for prioritizing my time.
Thanks!
Mallory
I'm finding as I age I really dislike change, so although I was eager to go through the 2010 version, I viewed it with arms crossed so to speak. It didn't take long for me to uncross my arms, and lean forward. It's very informative. Of course there are some very minor glitches, some little thing always gets by, but rather than criticize TechniTrader, I view these as indications of people who know how to trade and communicate successfully, rather than how to turn out a technically flawless piece of work. I'm not all the way through the course, but so far, it's excellent. The two volumes are very attractive. Much more so than the first course.
Martha does a wonderful job of explaining the technical indicators and how they work. I like the tests that are to be taken at the completion of each segment. We learn by wrong answers on the test too.
The insistence on a trading simulator, and Excel is also very helpful. Nearly like "Well here's the tools you need; you may think you can get along without them, but you can't. Here they are. Take them, learn to use them, and you'll love 'em". I'm a three time member of the "$3,000 Club", and I thought seriously before buying this course due to my previous disappointments, but it far exceeds my expectations, and I'm feeling more and more confident that I can trade successfully. So it's an excellent course, one that I'm very pleased with. Thanks for asking, and if I can be of any help, let me know.
Sincerely,
Ron
Martha,
Thanks for your part in my education.
God Bless you,
Jack G.
Hello Martha,
I recently completed the methodology and position trading courses and learned so much. This course is the most complete and thorough I've been through, and I've been through many. I've spent thousands and this is the best and most affordable of any, bar none.
Again, I really am so glad I heard about your courses. You are doing a wonderful service. I can't wait to teach my son (he's 2, but he'll be learning by 5). :)
Thank you for your time.
Eileen G.
Dear Martha,
My name is Paul and I have been a TechniTrader student for the last 6 years. I have ordered most of your productions over the years. I have recommended your courses to dozens of my colleagues. Martha, I will always be the student, study and re-study these courses. I think for myself and the charts do not lie.
Many thanks again
All the best,
Paul H.
I have been a subscriber to TechniTrader since 2006. I have taken multiple courses during the period and currently receive the Daily Market Educator, Position Trader Weekly, and the Long Term Portfolio Discussion e-mails.
My personal decision to choose TechniTrader was based on thorough research of TechniTrader and their focus of training towards technical analysis and not a trading system.
I have found the support for questions and assistance invaluable for my education. My experience with the TechniTrader and their staff has been very professional and beneficial, not to mention timely and enjoyable.
I would highly recommend Techni Trader to anyone who asked.
Regards,
Steve B.
Since December 2005, I have gone through the beginner's Methodology course, the Position Trader course, as well as the three Masters Series courses (Definitive Guide to Entry and Exit Signals, Definitive Guide to Stock Indicators, and Definitive Guide to Market Condition). These, along with the Daily Market Educator emails I receive, have given me a comprehensive, well-rounded understanding of the market and how it works, something that is so necessary to be able to trade with a high level of success, and something that is not readily found in many of the canned signal, "green buy / red sell", trading programs that are out there. (Let me add here that I started my training with the Investools trading program, ultimately spending $6,000+ for their options training only to discover that their "green buy / red sell" program simply does not work well in all market conditions, like the rather frustratingly indecisive market we are dealing with today.) On the other hand, TechniTrader's training is absolutely excellent in this regard.
The TechniTrader training in fundamental and technical analysis is also very good and has been tremendously helpful as I look for potential stocks to trade. It has given me confidence for making profitable selections. I especially love being able to "look over the shoulder" and "get into the mind" of Martha Stokes through her daily emails. She is a wealth of knowledge and able to make the seemingly complex easy to understand. Actually, I have found all of TechniTrader's staff to be very friendly and personable. Their goal is to help their students succeed.
As with any serious training program in whatever subject it may be, it takes time and effort to get up to speed. One should not expect successful results overnight. It takes time--a lot of study and a lot of paper trading--to develop good trading abilities. But if you are serious about your desire to become a successful trader, I cannot recommend highly enough the quality training you will receive through TechniTrader.
Best wishes,
Dan V.
Perhaps first a bit of background: my first experience with the stock market goes back to the 1960's when I was in high school (ok, so I am older than dirt!). Someone marketing mutual funds spoke with my parents, and as part of that conversation I invested in a mutual fund. Which not a huge amount of time later, went defunct. That set the tone for the future.
I have a degree in Philosophy and a graduate degree, neither of which make for much knowledge of, or interest in the world of business and the market. I have had some success in a 401 K, mostly because I knew so little that I put it into a growth fund and did nothing more than contribute periodically. Years ago, in the 70's, there was a local lumber company that was publicly traded; it would go up and down, somewhat slower perhaps than a yoyo, but in similar fashion. As it was local and in the local news, it didn't take a lot of business acumen to figure out that one could make money if one bought low and sold high. However, I had no clue whatsoever as to how to accomplish that, and my personal opinion was that stock brokers had that moniker for a reason - that was what they made you...
Several years ago I was determined to remedy the lack of knowledge (and go find another WTD Industries), and took a class through National Association of Investment Clubs. They focus almost exclusively (or did then) on fundamentals. After the class, I attended several monthly meetings of their demonstration club. It was my observation that they were pretty good at selecting stocks; the ones they selected fairly consistently went down right after their purchase. Needless to say, something seemed to be missing, but what it was escaped me. So I put on hold the whole idea of taking Value Line and charting out the fundamentals of stocks so I could emulate the club's experience and lose money. The idea of trading stock went back onto the shelf.
About a year ago I stumbled, quite innocently, on Investools. A free seminar! A bridge in Arizona! Actually, I knew they were marketing something to help one trade, so I went. However, they seemed to want a lot of money to get into a program that essentially told you when to buy and sell, but not why. After some review of them on the internet, I went exploring further on the idea of training, and came across TechniTrader.
The first thing that impressed me was from their CD that they sent me; they wanted to teach me how to not lose money in the stock market. With my experiences, that seemed a novel and worthwhile idea. I had the opportunity to go up to Seattle (I live about 10 miles south of Portland, OR) to a seminar given by Worden Brothers and TechniTrader. I was again impressed with what they demonstrated and the approach they took to trading. Martha in particular went through a number of charts which the guy from Worden Brothers had compiled, and she explained why she felt that most of the stocks shown were not good trades. She also picked a couple that might have potential, and stressed that she would not recommend making a purchase of any of them at that time (and explained why, in a way that I who had no training whatsoever in looking at a chart could understand).
I also had the opportunity to talk with her and her staff after the seminar, and review the materials that were in the Methodology Course and Position Trading Course. What struck me was her integrity, and the thoroughness of the course materials. I have since purchased both courses and made my way through both of them; Methodology three times and Position Trading twice. So am I making millions? Nope. There is one thing that everyone - her staff, her materials, and she and her partner stress over and over, and that is, it is vital that the student paper trade until they have a 75% success rate. Given that market's volatility right now, and the fact that no one (including Martha) is sure that the market has formed a bottom and is headed up, It just happens to be my luck that there don't appear to be a very large number of stocks that are really good candidates for Position Training right now.
Then again, Martin Zweig and William O'Neil both repeat that one should get out of the market and stay out if it is not a bull market..
Everyone at TechniTrader will tell you that they, their students, and you will make bad trades. They teach you how to make good picks, and they teach you how to limit the bad trades to minimal loss. They teach you how to read the charts, the indicators, and how to find the stocks that are ready to make a move; how to make an offer that protects you, how to avoid having a stock plummet on you, how to make the decision to sell. In other words, they teach the techniques that are necessary to make money consistently, rather than through just dumb luck. They constantly emphasize how to set yourself up in decision making so you take the two killer emotions, greed and fear, out of the equation. It is, however, up to you to use the tools they teach.
Do I think the courses are worth it? Absolutely. They delivered all they said they would, and more than I expected. There simply is no hype in this program. It is a nuts and bolts, how to buy and sell in the market, how to pick a stock and what to do next approach. It is not magic, and doesn't promise to be so. People have been making money in the market long before charts were available to people like you and I (she tells about her grandfather, whom I take it did quite well). It is nowhere as nearly exciting as a book on "How I made a Million in the Market in Twelve Months", and they don't make any projections that you will do that. It does, however, teach you how to make money in the market, and better than the benchmarks, with reasonable consistency.
The bottom line is that the course gives you what it says it will, the tools with which to make informed choices in the stock market and make money doing so. It is not exciting; it is like being back in a classroom and being lectured to. The lectures are thorough, replete with examples, straight forward, not at all exciting, and designed to cut through the hype we all see elsewhere. It is up to you to learn the tools and use them. I have no question that if you do so, you can be successful - or if you have been in the market trading, that you can be more successful.
So back to my question a couple of paragraphs above - do I think you will get your money's worth out of the course? You will get out of the course what you put into it. The information is all there; how the market is set up, how to work with a broker, how to read a chart, what the indicators are telling you, how to set a stop loss, how to sell. It is a lot of information, but it is not so complex that you need an advanced degree in Finance or Economics. It is like being back in school; if you want a "C" you might survive; if you want a "B" you should make some money; and if you want an "A" you should do quite well. But just like school, you have to learn something and apply it consistently. I think the course is worth every penny, and will pay for itself over and over and over, if you are willing to put in the effort. With that caveat, I recommend it whole heartedly.
O. Timothy M.
Martha,
The Long Term Portfolio Discussion (011809) was so well written that I printed an extra copy to put in my Methodology book where the NASDAQ was discussed so I would know exactly where it was if I needed it in the future.
Thank you for all of the additional knowledge and information you are giving us. You are a terrific teacher.
BOB D.
Hello Kathy,
Here's my testimonial regarding the Pro Trader course I took with the OTA.
I took the Online Trading Academy's 5 day Pro Trader course in Houston,TX back in August 2007.
Here I am in January 2009 and still not trading.
The inducements they offer are "live" trading using their money, a classroom setting where you get the personal attention you need, and the right to repeat the course as many time as necessary.
What I got from them was a 6 months worth of information crammed into 5 days. It's a class of about 20 to 25 students, direct access trading terminals, and an instructor. You will leave with lots of notes, a couple of manuals, and a certificate of completion (no DVDs or CD's!).
The live trading really is part of the course, but it's merely a brief sample of what it's like to perform a direct access trade. It's very fast paced, and you must adhere to THEIR strict trading guidelines. You never really have a chance to develop a sense of what you are doing, or your own trading style. In terms of educational value, the live trading sessions are useless.
It's like sitting next to an airplane pilot for 30 minutes, then having him hand you the controls for 1 minute. You will be totally overwhelmed and confused for that fast paced adrenalin filled minute! You can't gain any real piloting skill that way, but you can say you did fly a plane.
When you get back home you're on your own. You will have to try to follow all the many, many notes you took in class. Remember you won't get any DVDs or Cd's that cover the material you sat in class trying to digest. While in class you spend so much time note taking, you can't devote proper attention to grasping the concepts. Based on my experience, I doubt that this $5000 course has prepared anyone to become a profitable trader.
I asked about re-taking the 5 day course with a different instructor. My thinking was that maybe a new person could get the concepts across that I missed with the first instructor. I was told there was one other instructor at the Houston facility and his teaching schedule was uncertain.
In my opinion the OTA course was the worse educational decision I could have made. It was a complete waste of money that I am still paying off. They say you can take the course as many times as you like. But ask yourself, how many vacation weeks are you willing give up sitting in class for a week? How much money are you willing to spend driving/flying hundreds of miles from home and paying for expensive food and lodging? It's just not going to happen more than once and they know it.
The TechniTrader approach with the DVDs CD's manuals, step by step, at your own pace, homework assignment approach should yield the end result I want...to LEARN to make money trading stocks and options. After much thought online research, I have just ordered the TechniTrader methodology and position courses. The folks at TechniTrader seem sincere and willing to help you on a more personal level. To take you from novice to your first real money trade and give you lifetime support. I have not been able to find much of anything negative about TT.
Sincerely,
Jeff Y.
Stock Trading is a very Mechanical Process. You learn, build, fine tune, and go, just like building a race car. If it is done right, you will be successful. However, it does help to listen and research so you can do better, because there is a human factor. I believe finding out about your school and enrolling was the best thing I have ever done.
A very pleased student,
BOB D.
I'm Pierre and I live in Canada and am 58 years old. A few years ago life circumstances required that I reinvent and recycle into a new career. So, I started looking at those 3:00AM infomercials guaranteeing me a Garden of Eden at the end of a rainbow if only I would attend one of their seminars in a fancy Toronto hotel where I lived at the time. So, I went to one of them. They were pushing Options Trading. I got out of that company everything and anything I could get for free on the internet. Buying the DVD's and different Courses they offered was simply unaffordable. It was a sucker's ride. But all was not lost. That experience convinced me that I needed to get me a strong technical analysis formation in order to know what I was doing and why I should take this decision rather than that one. By that I mean the kind of formation I received in Law School. I wanted University caliber teaching and mentoring. So, I searched and I searched on the Internet for a good, no nonsense, respectable Institution that would teach me how to navigate in the Stock Market until I spotted a very small add inviting readers to go visit the TechniTrader web site. So I did. And I called them. I first spoke with a curriculum advisor by the name of Monte Cooke. No sales pitch, no rush. Just the straight facts. So I ordered the free promotional DVD and that is where I detected that Martha Stokes and Howard Johnson, along with their staff could deliver me exactly what I wanted. Good educators to whom passion for their profession came before profits. To give you an idea: Martha Stokes is a C.M.T. ( Chartered Master Technician ). It takes at least five years to complete the program and at the end of which the candidate must write and defend a thesis. Ms. Stokes' thesis was about the Evolution of Cycles and contributed a lot to the advancement of the profession. There are only 800 C.M.T.'s worldwide. That should give you an idea about the caliber I was earlier referring to. I have heard Ms. Stokes on the radio (yes, even here in Ottawa on CFRA) and read one of many of her articles (The Angle of Ascent) she wrote in a magazine having to do with technical analysis. Martha Stokes is a prolific writer and is considered very high on the Totem Pole within her profession. I told you I had practiced law. So I knew what to do and how to do it to try and detect if in the very beginning, I was dealing with a fly by night outfit. Through the Washington State Secretariat was able to check their Corporate Profile Record, if it corresponded with the TechniTrader registered trade name they use, if all corporate annual reports were up to date, etc, etc. . Everything checked out good. I even went further and I contacted the BBB. Decisions Unlimited Inc., which is the company doing business as TechniTrader, had not even one blemish. So I joined and never, ever regretted it. You see, Decisions Unlimited Inc. is NOT a publicly traded company. The ones pitching their stuff at 3AM usually are. Therefore their prices have to factor in those huge publicity costs. TechniTrader advertises only through the Internet which is a great advantage since advertising on the Internet comes out a lot cheaper than conventional advertising. And they pass on the savings to you. That I can personally attest to since I knew much about the 3:00AM snake oil peddlers prices. Believe you me. With TechniTrader you get your money's worth and more. Really, TechniTrader is at the top of the food chain in this field.
Sincerely Yours,
Pierre G.
What I like about Martha is her ability to explain complex matters in a very simplistic, down to earth manner. She breaks topics down into bite sized chunks and has very in depth knowledge , not only of the markets, but how and why certain buy signals and indicators actually work.
Martha does this from both a market makers perspective, as well as a global economic perspective.
Dave G.
HI Friends
I am very excited today because I just gained a new level of understanding with regard to the scans. Those numbers are really starting to make sense.
Also I am really starting to see the difference between quiet accumulation and large lot speculation. It is obvious how vast this subject is and how daunting it can seem at times but with all of the material I have at my disposal and the wonderful guidance that accompanies said material. It really puts things in perspective, and even if you don't get something right away just sticking with it is enough. I am very grateful to you Martha and your wonderful team
Thank you for this amazing tool.
Mark H.
Thanks so much Martha. You always amaze me my dear......You have such a keen eye in weeding through the detail and seeing the important issues....and I'm told you play a mean piano besides....wow....talented person.
Sincerely,
Dave
Martha,
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. I really value and appreciate your lessons.

Hello,
My name is Colin Kemp, and I live in Morgantown, WV. I am currently 16 and a junior in high school. I developed an interest in stock trading a little while ago, and knew that if I wanted to trade in the market, I would have to learn to do it right. That's how I found TechniTrader. Now, I am currently ranked in the top 1% of my class, and have always had a knack for patterns and mathematics, so I was able to go through the course with a thorough understanding fairly quickly. I have a rather small capital base of $1000 that I saved up over the summer to play with in the market. My parents have promised to fund my trading if I can prove I can trade and make a profit in the market. My goal for the next 6 years is to fund my way through college by trading stocks. I have been vouching for a couple of scholarships, but my education could cost as much as $100,000. The $20,000 account my parents have for me is a small chunk of this number, but hopefully I can use the market to help pay my part for my education. After college I am considering being a full-time professional trader. Right now I think I would be a swing or position trader. I think with my limited capital I would need to ride a trend as long as I could, putting me in a position trading spot, but my need for action puts me in a swing trading spot.
Thank you guys very much. So far, I have enjoyed the course very much. I know you say that there is no such thing as a get-rich-quick scheme, but if I can turn $1000 into $100,000 in 6 years, that would be good enough for me.
Thank you.
Colin K.
Hi Martha,
I really enjoyed learning from your Methodology Course. It was the best thing that I have ever done in my quest to learn about trading stocks. Your course is very educating and straight to the point. Your email lessons are right on cue, you answer questions before I have a chance to ask it on the emails.
The CD's and manuals are always there for my reference whenever I need to refresh what I have learned. I will definitely further my education with you, but not until I fully digest what I have just learned. I will continue to review the CD's and Manuals from time to time.
I have entered the Market on the buying and selling and also short selling and are profitable on both sides, thus far.
I have been with E-trade for about 5 years now and experienced making a lot of money and sadly losing more as the years went by. I believe that I have learned fairly quick because I was exposed to trading stocks for about 5 years. Your Methodology Course taught me a lot and made me realize just how little I really knew. It was truly a Blessing how I found your site on the Internet.
I prayed to God to direct me to a site that was real and honest and not one of those gimmicks that just wants your money. I typed in a few words and there it was, TechniTrader.
I am definitely a happy student who enjoyed the Methodology Course every step of the way. The last email lesson was kind of sad, like losing a friend, it was a little depressing just to read the words, last email lesson.
Mahalo (Thank you in Hawaiian)
Wayne P.
I'm 51 years young with 2 grown males and a loving wife. I thought about your system for about 2 months and talked to you guys many times. My wife and I did some very deep talking about it., the market being as bad as it is now. But, in the end it looked the way to go. I just finished the DVD's and started up "my trader" and "telechart". While I have been waiting for the emails to start, I looked thru the stocks. I couldn't see any long, swing trades, but found shorts to play with. Made some simulated money and couldn't believe it. Without your course, I couldn't begin to see what I see now. What an eye opener. Thank you very much.
Your friend,
Mike L.
Thanks Martha,
Just wanted to thank you also for the Industry and Sector report. I actually copy and pasted all your comments of each into my notes section in Telechart which I set up watchlists for Industry Indexes and Sector watch. Every time I am looking at a stock I just go to its watchlist symbol and check your comments. It has given me a much better understanding of the market in general. The more I understand, the more I enjoy what I am doing. It must have been a big job for you to do, so I thought I would let you know it is very much appreciated as well as most helpful.
Best wishes,
Kaaren
Therese,
I know you're really busy but I'm going to go ahead and take a moment to tell you that you are great at your job. So helpful and always go the extra mile to help me with any questions I have. Martha is really blessed to have someone like you to work for her and I hope she gets this message. You are tops and I really appreciate all your help. You have helped me more then you'll probably ever know and I really, really appreciate it. Thanks so much. It's such a pleasure to get a chance to work with such great people.
Terry S.
I am really enjoying learning from your Methodology Study Course and have learned so much, and the timing of your emails is right on queue. It seems that just when I want to ask a question, you answer with emails
Wayne P.
I started being a student in the spring of 2005. Since then I've followed and studied the daily and weekly e-mails, and have completed the following of your courses:
- Methodology
- Position Trading
- DGSI Seminar
- Market Trend Analysis (Lab)
- DGSI Course
- Support & Resistance (Lab)
- Cycle of Market Participants (Lab)
- New Technology Product Cycle I (Lab)
- New Technology Product Cycle II (Lab)
- DGMC Course
Although I don't submit homework assignments anymore, I still do them when Martha assigns them.
I paper traded in 2005 and set up a short term trading system. I went live prematurely in Jan 2006 and got spanked badly on one trade losing about 1/5 of the money I had in my brokerage. After taking my lumps there (everyone goes through growing pains - the key is not to get killed completely!), I adjusted my system and instead of going live, I paper traded it during the rest of 2006 and did decent. I traded that system in 2007 for real and ended up slightly positive, but barely. Realizing I'm more of a position trader than swing trader, I created a new system for myself with longer hold times, and paper traded it during 2008, and did very well. I'm gearing up to go live with this system for 2009, and am fortunate that the current financial crisis seems to have worked in my favor as now stocks have gotten cheaper and I like stocks that are bottoming or consolidating before continuing up to be around 15 to 40. So good for me there. I like to keep whatever method I use to trade for a full year to make sure it's working or not, and if I adjust it in a major way, I have to paper trade the new method for a full year before going live with it. Just something I decided on as a result of my spanking.
And hope all is well, Out here,
Greg
Martha,
I just wanted to thank you so much for your analysis and your support of all your students. I took your course last year, and am so glad that I am staying in tune to your teaching. You are a breath of fresh air, and I am finally really turning my trading around and becoming consistently profitable.
I forwarded your emails to my parents so that they would have a common sense of what is happening in the market and not panic. My Dad really appreciates all your teachings about how we got into all this mess.
You are a blessing to all of us, as well as your team.
Take care.
Kurt
One other thing I would like to comment about is "The Daily Market Educator". Please tell Martha that even as a new student, I REALLY APPRECIATE her terrific educational expertise and the critically important information she has been sending out to us. I know she spends a lot of time considering what to send and filling in background details for us. It must be a balancing act trying to satisfy all levels of students but I can tell you even as a beginner I can understand what she is saying. I find it amazing that I am BEGINNING to comprehend what is going on in the markets. I like to discuss this with my friends who, for the most part, know precious little, have no education or training in this matter and are throwing up their hands in despair. It makes me feel more confident being on board with TechniTrader. Thanks again to Martha!!
Best Regards,
Bob S.
Just a few words to thank you and your staff for being so supportive and I must say the subscription to your emails are invaluable. I find your emails uplifting, motivational and educational.
Quincy N.
Hi. Why doesn't somebody like Martha go on television and explain this stuff? Seems like none of the different television "news" programs (programs hosts and guests and so-called experts and commentators etc.) have any idea. Seems like 'doom and gloom' verbiage is their primary intent. They really can't explain the situation. Nobody on television can explain it like Martha.
Martha,
I thank God for you and so deeply appreciate the wisdom, steadiness, and guidance you give to us.
A student who listens,
Eugene G.
Dear Martha,
I want to thank you for the DME's this week. They were very informative, interesting and very invigorating. I did not study my options course this week but I did read the DME's over several times. The more I read them the more I learned. Between the course studies and the DME's this is the best material I have read in a good many years. The analyzing of the charts is really getting more interesting and more understandable. Who needs to read and listen to the news when there is material like this to read. It is not boring by any means.
When I resume the options course, there will be a lot more meaning in it.
By the way I have really enjoyed all the lessons and learned so much and I will recommend these courses to anyone who wants to listen.
Thank you very much for sharing your wisdom,
Robert D.
Hello Friends
I feel that I should stop and take a moment to say thanks. Between the courses and the DME I have learned so much. This has challenged every aspect of my life, and forced me to take a hard look at how I learn and do business. I am definitely one of the ones who is not paper trading enough but I do take full responsibility for my actions and am constantly adjusting my tactics to maximize what is definitely going to be my next vocation.
Thank you for helping me grow,
Mark H.
Today I was reading the current DME and it struck me how much I appreciate Martha's no nonsense approach to teaching us the market. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have a teacher like her. I feel very blessed to have been introduced to the TechniTrader program and Martha Stokes. It's more than wonderful to be able to trust your teacher and feel deep inside that you have found someone extremely knowledgeable and reliable to learn from, as well as someone who truly cares. Before I was introduced to this program, I struggled with the idea of ever becoming a capable and profitable trader. This struggle left me feeling very frustrated. I now believe this program and Martha Stokes was an answer to my prayers.
I am currently flat in the market and intend to remain that way until I begin to see some reliable buy signals as taught in the Methodology course. I study this material religiously and really appreciate Martha's words in the DME. She's GREAT!!! I also appreciate all the e-mails you've so graciously answered for me. I truly feel supported in my endeavor to learn to trade the market.
Thank you both, and warmest regards,
Dan
Martha Stokes and Howard Johnson:
I have just completed the new How To Sell Short course. I find it superb. The manual and the course organizer are high quality. Even more impressive is the educational material in the DVD's and the manual. I would give it an A++. I am going to go through it all again to be sure I have in hand all the many points it deals with having to do with successful short selling. I have never seen anything like it.
Jim K.
Martha & Howard,
My education in the stock market started with your basics class (March 2000) and then onto your advanced class. I have continued my education over the years honing my skills and relentlessly preparing for the next trading day. And yet I still feel your sense of the market is better than mine will ever be, so I plan on me ordering the newsletter again in the future.
I also wanted to let you know that even though I still aspire to reach your level of knowledge, my trading has been very successful. I work now only because I choose to. My trading profits have become a far greater income than my paycheck. My wife no longer has to work and I have secured my children's education. I plan to give the community in which I grew up 2 more years of service and will retire at the age of 45 to pursue others passions.
Your education and coaching set my feet on a path that changed my families future. I don't have the words to express my gratitude other than, Thank you very much.
Doug C.
Thanks for all you have done for me. In the last year, I have learned much and my picks are at a minimum of 90% profitable. Especially thanks for what you taught me about getting into positions and setting stop losses. The few that didn't produce what I expected, didn't cost me anything as they would have had I not gone through your course!

I would like to get my money back on all those other courses and software programs I have invested in over the last 6-7 years, because they can't hold a candle to what you guys have done to making sense out of the whole trading process. Thanks for the big picture, putting it all together and filling in the gaps as to how to make what I thought I learned about trading make so much more sense...and especially thank you guys for making it super simple. The way you are teaching this subject has allowed me to get the rest of my life back.
George E.
The most important thing I learned was the numerous little bits from the hard lessons that the teachers have learned. Sort of street-wise stuff for the unaware. I liked the general market and trader psychology. I liked hearing that even the 'pros' have a lot of improvement to make or have made silly mistakes too. The 400+ page manual helped me follow the presentation. The course covered almost everything imaginable.
Ron R.
The most important thing I learned was reading graphics, entry, and exit calculations.
Arrif G.
Excellent; I was intrigued the whole time.
Kathy C.
The indicators in the class were wonderful and different I haven't traded stocks for many years because I was completely unhappy about trading through a broker. Now I can trade on-line. Great advice from direct personal experiences.
Bob P.
Very enjoyable. You made the subject matter fun rather than frightening. My husband asked me to come; we had fun.
Thank you,
Kathy B.
Boy you were right in your thoughts about the market this week! I can't remember the last time I was as excited as I am now about learning.
Gary O.
What can I say? This is great! It would be very hard to find a teacher like you who has the student's interest at heart. Thanks a million for being so concerned about us. This is very encouraging.
Tulsi D.
Very Excellent! I liked the teacher's time management. My favorite part was examining the teacher's last set of stock picks, very valuable info.
Mike S.
I devoured every tidbit and only wonder what important things I missed and didn't learn.
Dana S.
Thank you for sharing your letter overview. It is a very well written, succinct, lucid, and easy to follow. Additionally, it is heart felt honest, and good advice, as directed to all of us. I wish someone would have given me directions like this 30 years ago. You do a great job of teaching.
Mike S.
I am very happy with what I have learned. I strongly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn how to manage their portfolios. TechniTrader demystified the Market for me. The course builds gradually on clear & concise principles. the convenience of being able to replay the DVD's for clarification and the outline course workbook was most helpful. I used the workbook now for quick references. The course has paid for itself.
Paul H.
Well, it certainly has been fun trading. Since I began, I have never been able to put 2 days positive in a row together. I have strung 3 in a row, and 4 out of the last 5. Much of the credit is due to you and a better grasp of some technicals. Not being patient and being greedy will do you in. You are a calming influence pointing out the virtues of patience. I like hearing it every day. It helps!
Dave P.
All I have to say is your an amazing teacher...thanks for the info...
Bob A.
Jonathan & I would like to thank you for blessing us this year by getting to know you both ~ as well as getting to know the stock market more through the both of you. What a privilege to learn so much and with people of integrity. Thank you very much. We wish the both of you a very wonderful prosperous and romantic New Year.
Jonathan & Stephanie K.
Martha,
I am very appreciative of your efforts. My trading has been much better because of what I have learned from you and your emails. My options trading is more precise because of using your techniques.
Adam B.
I wanted to say thanks for your excellent course and Martha's e-mails - which, by the way, are worth every penny.
Greg E.
Hi Martha,
I just want to take minute to thank you for your time and effort you give in teaching all of us about trading stocks. It's certainly a lot harder than I thought it would be. You seem to always know when to send out a bit of encouragement when I'm frustrated with my progress. May God bless you and your team with a wonderful Christmas and a great 2006.
Jerry
We have been studying all 12 DVD's over and over ad slowly burning them into our aging (80 yr "oldie") brains. It is almost like going back to college for a graduate degree! We believe it is an excellent training program and have confidence that with continued practice we can use it successfully to augment our limited SS income.
Both Howard and Martha present the material in such an interesting easy to listen to way. We particularly enjoyed learning about her grandfather Otto and his start in America.
Bob and Virginia F.
Thanks for all you have done for me. In the last year I have learned much and my picks are at a minimum of 90% profitable. Especially thanks for what you taught me about getting into positions and setting stop losses. The few that didn't produce as expected didn't cost me anything as they would have had I not gone through your course! Sincerely, Bob K.
Looking forward to putting everything we learned into practice. Thanks for an excellent course. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to learn to trade.
Steve S.
I just wanted to thank you and Howard for helping me to get started. If I had never taken your course then I would be a lot like my friends saying that the stock market is just too high of a risk. I will be in touch to let you know how things are going for me and I hope that I can still get some advice from you from time to time. Once again thank you for all of your support and your wonderful staff. God bless you all.
Keith H.
I learned more from this course in two days than the stack of books and the last three years that it took to read them.\
I will see you soon,
Mike S.
I am primarily interested in short term trading, I have been interested in technical analysis and the stock market for over 20 years but never was able to put things together into a trading method with which I felt
comfortable. Initially, I believed that a mechanical system was the way to go. I tested indicators and found the majorities do not work. I have also seen many overall market based mechanical systems blow up over the last three years. Only recently have I decided to look into a more discretionary form of trading. Finally, I would like to congratulate you and Howard on an excellent course at a very fair price. Prior to purchasing your course, I bought the highly rated XYZ seminar on VHS tape for $2,495.00, after studying both courses, I wish I had found your course first. Not only would it have saved me a lot of money, but your methods are much easier to apply.
Mark K.
I started with $3000. doubled that in a month, then doubled again. I am off to a great start.
Lynnette L.
The course book is marked up and highlighted and I am trying to engrain the 5 indicators into my brain. My nature, according to my wife, is I am a risk taker. But a risk taker with a stop loss.
I liked TechniTrader in that it was something anyone could do and just use some common sense and some good indicators.
Dan H.
Dear Martha,
I found out about the course from an internet advertisement that led me to your website. The thing that struck me about the site was that it seemed very sincere; there are too many educational sites that push and push what you feel like "get-rich-quick" schemes. In fact the final decision to buy the course came when I was talking to one of your sales people on the phone. I asked him if he used the course and he said yes. He also added that the difference between taking control of your own finances and letting someone else do it is unbelievable.
Stewart H.
I felt like I've known you for a long time. I've been through the study material four times. Enough already! Seriously though, I think you and Howard did a great job putting this project together.
Thanks you.
Kim B.
Last week I put in stop losses on all my stocks--well it paid off. I bought ACVC for $29, it went as high as $88. I put in a stop loss at $64. Friday it was at $26. Thanks to your teaching I made 35 points in a couple of days.
Ron H.
The course is very good. I can tell it was written by someone who knows how to teach. Much of what you have covered was touched on in some of the reading I did before I got the course. One of the authors that I read took your course as well and went to the trouble to refer to what you teach and how to contact you. I was grateful because I was wondering how in the world I would ever find a source that would teach me how to trade in the market safely.
Laura
I sold my 500 shares near the top ($42) on the Monday after the seminar. It's sitting in the mid-twenties now! If I never do another thing (which of course I will) the amount I paid for the seminar was well worth it.
Many Thanks,
Kathy C.
For someone as "tech" challenged as I am, it is a dream working with you. Your instructions are absolutely precise and don't leave any room for me to screw it up; thank you, thank you.
Best wishes to you all,
Maureen
I feel I gained more knowledge of practical money making stock market training in your two day stock workshop, than I did in four years of college, and I was a Business Major!!!!
Doug C.
Before I took TechniTrader's stock workshop, I was never able to put 2 days positive in a row. Now I am 4 out of 5, day trading.
David P.
The entire program was excellent. Everything was great! Thank you so very much!
Brett P.
Very good! I wish I had attended a year ago! I would like to see my kids attend this stock workshop. The manual gives a wealth of information.
Dwyane H.
An amazing amount of material covered in a very concise presentation. Excellent!
MJK
Wonderful! Candlestick charting and entry and exit points were very important. I'm glad to have the manual for future reference!
Linda M.
Thank you for your professionalism and for helping us all at different experience levels get started. Thank you for taking your time in giving good quality instruction and sticking with us.
Larry G.
I just want to let you know how much I appreciate all the help you are giving us with your e-mails.
Christine M.
I wanted to inform you that I have completed the Training video. The material was well written, and very well organized. I think I have learned so much about the stocks that I was unable to learn in last 3 years. My compliments to you and Howard for this wonderful training you guys have put together. I was a lost soul and now I see the light at the end of this long tunnel.
Kumud N.
First, let me say that your course was exactly right for me at exactly the right time. I'd been trading futures for about five years, but knew nothing about equities and or the stock market. Your course gave me the specifics of what I needed and I thank you.
Herb
Thanks a million for all the GREAT info!
Kind Regards,
David
I am pleased with the course and with the ongoing emails from TechniTrader. My trading has its ups and downs as I adapt what I have learned to my particular trading style. I am learning from my mistakes and am encouraged by my progress.
David L.
I really enjoyed the course. I've gone over it twice, and find that I pick up something new every time I go over it. Although I haven't done any trading with real money, I do see the potential to make money. I am taking my time and studying the support emails received nightly. It definitely was a well worth investment.
Thanks,
Mike D.
I think Martha is excellent teacher and has lots of experience and knowledge.
Kumud
I have really appreciated the TechniTrader course! It has given me something structured with rules that I understand and can work from. I've been following newsletters for a little over a year and have been applying what I've learned from the course to their recommendations. This works very well, I have better control over the situation with intelligent stops in the market, rather than an arbitrary percentage held mentally or on paper. This has taken allot of the emotion out of the trade for me. The act of making these decisions ahead of time and doing proper risk analysis has been key.
As you can no doubt see, I'm enjoying everything to do with the TechniTrader program. This was money well spent. I have great plans for the future of this business.
Ken
I received your training Course two weeks ago. Needless to say, it is outstanding. I like the way that the DVD presentations follow the workbook and vice versa. The materials leave no stone unturned. I'll contact you if I have any questions. Thank you.
Bernie F.
I've been a buy and hold trader for over 15 years largely through participation in my company's stock purchase plan (ADP) and family inheritances (GE, PG). After tremendous loses in 2000-2002 I realize CD'sbuy and holdCD's strategies no longer work. I enrolled in your course because it was, and is the best!
Robert E.
I enjoy the course and still review the DVDs constantly. I feel like I learned more with this course then I did in taking some finance courses while in college. Martha and Howard have a very good teaching technique and the support system has been very helpful.
Dewyne M.
I am a firm believer in the program.
Lynn F.
Martha, Howard, and everyone at TechniTrader,
Thank You, this course has really hit the spot!
I can see this TechniTrader system as an excellent foundation/base for the future. Something to master and use as a foundation on a quest to gain more knowledge, and something to fall back to for support when I need to lick my wounds and reevaluate.
I'm glad I found and trusted your course when I did!
Thanks,
Ken L.
I am reaching the end of my on-line support with you. It has been extremely educational. Of course, I have printed all the emails and review it consistently. I want to thank you for all the great advice and an excellent format for learning. This format lends itself to easy review.
The DVD's are in fact that is one of the strongest reasons for my interest in TechniTrader. Your work and Howard's work are interesting and easy to follow and review.
So the education goes on, a healthy foundation has been laid and long term work remains.
Thank you for the great start,
Dan D.
I went to a Five Star Trading Seminar on Saturday with a friend, support only!
I had to laugh at what some of these other companies are teaching. Their biggest selling point was on volume, MACD and Buy Signals. I was so negative towards the instructor that I found myself selling TechniTrader's education package. I gave your email to three investors that are looking for a reliable training program.
I used to use volume, MACD and line charts to pick my stocks prior to taking your course and I did okay but I also lost a lot of money.
After this seminar I decided to check out what this guy was teaching and what I did was take the information that I learned in your course and the MACD indicator and I went through five years of data on a couple of different charts and compared data. What I discovered was that if you use only indicator the Five Star and WizeTrade teaches that you will 60-70% of the time and money, HOWEVER, your profits are not always the largest profits that you could have earned, HOWEVER, with the indicators and the candles aught by TechniTrader, gives you the BEST indicators to enter and exit a trade in order to earn the largest possible amount of profits during the trade.
I also noticed that many times using MACD you can lose more money then you invested, so this indicator Isn't that reliable. The only good thing that I saw with the MACD indicator was that it gave you a indicator that something was about to happen or already had happened, but with the indicators taught by TechniTrader these indicators were already given a day or to prior to the MACD, which rendered higher profits.
After I learned this I called my friend and told her not to waste her money on these trading schemes that earns you min. profits. I recommended that she check out your program.
Regards,
Thomas H.
Hi TechniTrader,
The stock trading course is fantastic! I love it! I am completely changing the way I think about making money in the stock market. I am stopping all investing until I finish the course. I wish I had found this course years ago. I've had a quick perusal through the DVD's and am now going through them again to make notes and memorize things I want to remember. It is so interesting and makes so much sense I have a heard time stopping watching the DVD's.
Thanks,
Bob H.
Dear Martha,
First of all I would like to say that I am very impressed with your DVD Trading Program. It is jam packed with a lot of critical information that showed me why so many people, even highly educated people loose money in the stock market.
Your program is perfect for me because I am the type of person who is easily distracted and do not do as well in a classroom situation. Begin able to pause, rewind and basically control the pace of the lesson is extremely beneficial to me.
Henry M.
Hi Martha,
I want to thank you for helping all of us amateurs in learning different market strategies. With your help and guidance I am now making money! My biggest losses are when I don't follow your trading rules. Old habits are hard to break!
Thanks again, Rick M.
WOW! I've probably been to 25 seminars and workshops. TechniTrader is the best I've seen. Having the information delivered in different ways and times is very helpful. I am leaving satisfied and confident for a real change.
Jeff E.
Hi Martha,
I quite enjoyed going through the DVD course. I was playing the market in 1998 through to about 2001. Needless to say, I am still a bit bruised. The course literarily pin-pointed what I was doing wrong. I have learned valuable lessons and I know the next month of email support will be my solid foundation for successful trading.
Thank you,
Paul
I tallied up September and October trades. $101,000.00 profits and some trades are still open and profits are moving up!
Patricia M.
I very much appreciate you taking the time to tell me about your experience with TechniTrader. The information you conveyed convinced me of the merits of their product and I will be ordering the home-study program right away. As I progress with the training and start my trading I would share progress.
Thanks again for your time and comments,
Larry L.
Hi Martha,
I want to start out by saying that I found the DVD course to be excellent and very informative. It is the best introductory investment course for beginners that I have seen so far. It was well put together for the novice trader/investor.
When researching for a training course, I was interested in something that taught the combination of technical and fundamental analysis. That is when I found your course and sent for the 90 minute CD. After watching the CD, I liked the information and the approach to technical analysis.
Regards,
Keith S.
It is inspiring to know that during this sideways market the strategies you taught are doing so well!
Frank W.
I found the 30 days to be an excellent TechniTrader course review. I didn't ask that many questions mainly because most of my questions were answered before I got done trying to search out the answers myself. I also have plenty of information to keep reviewing everyday for weeks to come.
Thanks for your insight into trading strategy and the markets in general. I know I paid for the training, but I already earned 50% of the tuition back.
Dick S.
Thank you for your emails and the course in general. I feel much better about investing in the stock market and have some very good tools to get the job done. Thank you, Louis S.
I think this course is the best decision I have made to date as far as learning to trade.
Eileen H.
My trading has been going great. The email support is an asset. I feel that the training and explanation in those DVDs was more of what I was looking for.
Bob D.
The most important thing I learned was protecting profits with stop losses. This information would have increased my February profits by $15,000. I devoured every tidbit of information. An excellent, informative, well planned educational presentation. Instructors were highly personable, projecting a command of the subject matter and an enthusiasm for sharing their knowledge. Also appreciated was the student package containing everything needed for note taking, highlighting, etc. The choice of facility for the stock workshop was excellent with beverage and lunches that provided affirmation of the high caliber of this workshop.
Frank W.
Hi Martha,
I've really enjoyed this course a lot. I love the no nonsense approach to just stick emotions. I've watched a few of the CDs numerous times and will continue to refer back to them again and again. Each time I go back over them something else sinks in. This is a very powerful course!
Thanks Again,
Matt
Martha, first I want to tell you thank you for all your help over the last two years. What we have learned has been invaluable to our trading. I just really wanted to let you know how much we value you. You are an inspiration.
Stephanie B.
Just a note on my performance. I have short term traded over 200 times this year with negligible losses and a gain of $200k. I do trade in at least 1,000 share lots and stay with stocks with good fundamentals. Hope all is well with you and am looking forward to future educational opportunities with you.
Regards,
John F.
Thank you for sharing your e-mails about options trading to your students. It is well written, succinct, lucid, and easy to follow. Additionally, it is heart felt, honest, and good advice. I wish someone would have given me directions like this 30 years ago, you do a great job of teaching both in person and with your writing skills.
Mike S.
My trading is going well. I am still on the email list and will be on it for a long time. Martha is wonderful. Her approach to teaching is incredible. It was with time that I got even more appreciative of the foundation I got from the twelve CDs. I have moved on to trading options but I never go to sleep until I read and do the assignments from Martha's daily emails.
Victor O.
There is one thing that seems significant to me. I felt harmony between what you advertise and what you say. All previous seminars preached only increasing wealth so they can benefit from the greed they awaken. The other seminars lecturers were drowning in their own pride and showing off as to how successful they are. I sure didn't have that feeling with TechniTrader stock workshop. More than that, I kept thinking about how much work and preparation must have gone into putting together your excellent manual which I am sure will become my 'trading bible' for a long time to come. From this point of view, I firmly believe that the money I spent for your workshop was my first investment with perhaps the best potential return I have ever made.
Milan K.
Great! This is a milestone in my short investment career! If I would have taken this stock workshop a month ago, it would have saved me $50,000.00.
Chuck J.
Three weeks into the TechniTrader course and the pieces are slowly starting to fit together. This excellent class is proving itself the missing link in my trading, allowing me to understand to a much greater degree why stocks move as they do and how to anticipate what they will do. I have been daytrading for over five years and feel trading firms should make a course like TechniTrader mandatory before allowing an individual to become a client. We would all be a lot smarter and much better traders.
I am very grateful that Ms. Stokes and Mr. Johnson took the time to make this course available to anyone in the country.
With much gratitude,
Lissa J.
Awesome! The whole TechniTrader stock workshop was my favorite part! The slide presentation and book material were great.
James M.
I just wanted to tell you that this course is amazing: I have never seen anything like it. It is so well prepared and fun. Thank you for such a beautiful course. WELL WORTH THE PRICE!
Jeffry G.
Thank you for the information and the emails. I appreciate the good service/support.
Charles P.
Martha: In the three days that I traded this past week, my first week of trading, I profited a total of $13,196. It was done with two trades one of which was yours: "A". As I look at the realized P/L in myTrack I am still coming to grips with the reality of the situation.
Howard: I have been paper trading for about two weeks now with results that surprise me... This stuff really works! However, I realize that markets change and there is always a need to be on the lookout for those changes. At the same time I am also wondering what I am looking for in this market (that Martha calls sideways) but as far as I am concerned is moving ahead just fine as far as my picks are doing. Which leads up to this question: How are my picks doing? Here is the criteria: I am paper trading with $130,000 in capital, sometimes fully margined to $260,000 other times no margin at all. Even on down days I am able to make 2000 points(dollars) in a day. The biggest percentage a stock has moved in any one day is 3% but out of 35 picks so far only 5 stocks have stopped out on the sell stop limits upon buying them(same day).
The rest of them always advance, even if only grinding out a quarter or half a point. The longest I have stayed in a position is five days as I start to get nervous when the stock begins to indicate a change.I have not tried short selling at all and have stayed away from the TechniTrader short scans. Currently I look at between 500 and 900 charts a day. Is this the kind of return I should expect as a swing trader? Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Ed H.
Good Morning Martha,
I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate all of the help you give me with your "Market Outlook" emails. Yesterdays was excellent, but I am confused with a stock (ITRI) that you have on the second page. When I apply the ticker to TC2000, it does not show me the stock that you describe in the email. Thank you in advance for your help with this.
Marian R.
I realized that I'd never be able to make the kind of money I needed at a job so when I saw an article in the paper about a seminar on stock trading for an income I thought, Aha! I attended the seminar and even thought I knew I didn't want to continue my education with that group, I was certain that I did want to trade in the stock market. After all, there is plenty of money to be made in the stock market. I just needed to find out how to get some of it to come my way. That is where TechniTrader came in.
I was signing up for every free offer I could find and one of them happened to be your introductory DVD. I've checked out many other courses but after watching your DVD I knew I'd found the right one. I guess it was because you didn't make any wild claims or use high pressure tactics. What you said just seemed very believable. It had that "ring of truth" to it. I've completed the course now and I'm even more convinced that I made the right choice.
I'm very grateful to you and your team for the help you offer. I'm also grateful to your grandfather for starting it all. I don't plan on limited myself with doubt. I know that with your help, I can do this, let's get started!
Kathy M.
Woza...thanks for teaching me to take losses...and top wishing and hoping...my motivation for this sell was nothing more than getting sick of the swings...up to 18 down to 16's....back up to 18, then down...it paid off...I'm done...I'm almost all cash...will stay on the sidelines...because I know I have to master the charting, thanks so much again...you're a blessing from God!
Bob A.
Thanks for the downloads and corrections for the TC05. It works very well. Good job. Your email was most helpful and the step by step directions made the corrections easy. The excellence in tech and course support has kept me a huge TechniTrader fan.
Thanks again,
Paul H.
To Martha, Howard, and the TechniTrader Staff:
I am sure you already know how much your guidance has allowed us to appreciate a very eye-opening and permanent experience. Our view of the market has changed completely. Your training has allowed my partner and me to remain the style of investor that fits our personalities, but the efficiency offered here by your training has allowed us to scan entire markets in the same moments we used to spend observing only a small and limited hand-full of securities.
The technique and attitudes promoted by your course has freed us from confusion that hounds the typical investor. Simplicity has taken its place and now we are focusing in quite a wonderful way with pinpoint accuracy, which is not to say we are done learning by any means, but now it is confirmation and learning from good experience instead of bad.
You have set us on proper wheels, and we wish to thank you kindly for a foundation capable of expanding quite naturally now on its own. You offer total experience, which is exactly what we needed and it was such a relief to find! It will be nice to retire in the near future, for now we can really work, enjoy our families all the more and continue to balance and improve our own personal equations having to do with time, love, and money much more efficiently and in the way it was more finely meant to be for small investors like ourselves.
Thank you for the ware-with-all to contend with the rest of the investment community. The course you offer has given us a very rightful place in it! Thank you for advertising. Thank you for truly following through! We have appreciated greatly and now know that we can continue to appreciate regardless of the ever changing market trends and conditions.
Sincerely Yours,
David L.
Both my husband & best friend said I shouldn't go, but I was convinced of the value. I wished I could have taken this course six months ago. Thanks for answering all of our questions. The workshop was very, very informative.
Laurie A.
Just wanted to tell you that my experience with TechniTrader has been outstanding. The term "no nonsense" is used often to describe products, but this is the only one I have encountered that really fits the bill. Trading has always been a passion for me, but I wondered if I would ever have the clarity to succeed. This course mad that possible and the customer service you have provided has been top notch. Than you very much for everything.
Scott A.
Hi Martha,
First, I want to say that I really enjoyed your DVD course. It was well designed and both you and Howard were excellent in teaching it as well as explaining even the most complex concepts in a very easy to understand manner.
Well, I didn't give up because I knew others are very successful in the market so I kept on searching the net for help and found your website with your TechniTrader introduction CD. Of all the information I came across, yours was the most encouraging and so I sent for it right away. The introduction CD was so inspiring that I sent for your course and I am glad I did.
Robert A.
You and Howard do an excellent job teaching. My husband and I have watched them twice. We want to watch them again.
Stephanie K.
The one thing I became convinced about however (after reading Steve Bigalow's book on candlesticks), is that the course I want to take has to use the candles as reversal patterns. Which is primarily why I took the course from TechniTrader. Although we did not spend much time on candles per se, I am sure glad I took your course, because of all the other things I learned! Honestly, without this complete approach to trading, I do not see how anyone can succeed at trading!
Kind Regards,
Casper
Your training saved our investments. Without it we would have lost everything during the market downturn.
Robert L.
Martha,
I want to thank you for all of the assistance you have provided me recently. I must say that the study course you and Howard have put together is first rate.It has provided me the necessary fundamentals needed to get a good start. However, now that I've gotten started (and as with anything new I realize how much I don't know) you have been there with your daily emails and timely responses to my questions. These past few months have really been a rewarding educational experience. I know that without the study course and your guidance there is no way I could have made the progress I've made. Your knowledge base is exceptional and having the opportunity to talk with you when needed is truly appreciated. My success rate has climbed dramatically in the last month, I'm in the 75-80 percent range. I've started trading and I'm looking forward to sharing my success stories with you and Howard in the future.
Very Respectfully,
Charles
The most important thing I learned was which stocks to buy and the 1/4 point rule.
Ron S.
I made $90,000 in the first year trading with your methods.
Tom H.
Very good! The workshop fulfilled all of my expectations and MORE! I want more workshops and services from your company!
Thank you very much!
Mark C.
Thank you for doing a great job, the workshop was wonderful! I liked the part about how not to lose money in the stock market.
Chuck H.
The TechniTrader staff was very informative, upfront and honest!
Ken and Marnee C.
Boy were you right on your interpretation about the market this week! I'm feeling really good about the class and my attitude about learning. I have a terrible commute and the whole time I'm driving, the 'little investor' in me is saying: "You should be home studying those charts!" I can't remember the last time I was so excited as I am now about learning.
Gary O.
It was great! I feel I have the information I need to make good trades. The homework was very helpful and talking about it the next day and our decisions. The chart lessons are very helpful too.

I really enjoy receiving your e-mails everyday. I've learned so much from them and now that I am actually in the market, I feel I'm making good strides for now and hopefully in the future. Thank you for all your knowledge and help.
PS: I am definitely a position trader, thanks for all you input on the subject of trading styles. I am currently long in the market and have been taking some nice profits as they come my way.
Sincerely,
Dennis B.
Thanks for all your input and feed back on my picks via e-mail. I took this workshop to improve my ability to make a living trading.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate all of the help you give me with your "Market Outlook" emails. Yesterdays was excellent.
Thank you,
Marian R.
What I like and appreciate most about the Decisions course is the daily and weekly email. It is like having a mentor guiding me through the market everyday, pointing out things that would take me years to see and understand. The email is an extension of the two-day course that continues to strengthen my understanding of the market, indicators, strategy, and psychology over an extended period of time. I am a learner that needs to keep hearing things in different ways and Martha is very good about how she explains things and her repetition or important concepts through changing market cycles.
I think the world of this company, all the people who are a part of it and the mission that Howard and Martha set out to accomplish.

Mallory E.
Excellent! I loved the story about "Grandfather's stocks." I wished the workshop was 3 days. The days flew by! The manual is fabulous!
Sue S.
The course was very helpful and Martha gave great email support, she answered every question I asked accurately and promptly. From my experience with TechniTrader all of you work very hard at what you do.
Jim B.
Excellent! The most important thing I learned was that emotion and greed are real negative traps Informed (educated) trading will protect you from these traps. I liked learning about how to determine at what price to buy and set stop losses.
Taylor L.
Very good! Informative! Held my attention. I enjoyed the information on how to gather and analyze data to make good decisions. The Grandfather story struck a chord with me. I plan to teach my kids about the stock market early.
Rick L.
Great! This is a milestone in my short investment career! If I would have taken this stock workshop a month ago, it would have saved me $50,000.00.
Chuck J.
Very educational, the speakers were very knowledgeable and effective. I liked learning about the 7 indicators and candlestick charts.
Fred P.
I really liked the little bits of insight and information from the hard lessons that the teachers have learned. Sort of street wise stuff. I also liked the general market and trader psychology. Thanks for answering all the questions. And for telling us that even the pro's have a lot of improvement to make and that they too make silly mistakes. Very patient and generous with your time. Thanks. The workshop covered almost everything imaginable.
Ron R.
Very enjoyable. You made the matter fun rather than frightening. My husband asked me to come with him. Thank you, we had fun.
Kathy B.
I love Martha's approach. The depth of her knowledge/understanding of this market is obvious.
Ken M.
Just a big THANK YOU for your course and the way you presented it. Questions would come up, but found that if I was patient you would provide the answer.
Your design of the course was excellent. Your words were easy to follow, plus you unlocked some of the mysteries of TC2000, which I have subscribed to for over 3 years.
Again you are a company on the right track!
Sincerely,
Murel E.
Great job! I appreciated the opportunity to attend this stock workshop. Good presentation. I enjoyed the reference material. I enjoyed most the basic review of what actually happens in the Stock Market, and how to go about doing this on my own.
Rich H.
Thanks for your service. I learned so much. I have now started to make some money in the options market. I love your TSV and ROC indicator.
L.W.
Excellent! Appreciated the sincerity of Howard over the phone. Appreciated the low key, no hype approach. Appreciated the professionalism and presentation and the sincerity to help us.
Larry G.
The indicators were wonderful and different!
Dave P.
Impressive amount of great data to use. Very enjoyable! The most important things I learned were: scan formulas, indicators, and buy signals.
Nate M.
I am fascinated with the market. I enjoyed learning the actual market process--history the paradigm of thinking with the stock market.
Lloyd B.
Just got the trading calculation floppy, and wanted to say thank you. I'm sure it was a large and trying task to complete. Wanted to let you know you, and your hard work are appreciated. Thank you both for all your patience and willingness to teach. Keep up the good work.
Kevin N.
I went over the course with such a great pleasure. Thank you so much. I am interested in learning more about the stock market and reaching the point I feel comfortable with e-trading.
Sincerely,
Alex P.
It was great! Buy signals, how to select entry level stop losses were my favorite part.
Thanks,
