TechniTrader® is the Educational Division of Decisions Unlimited, Inc. We teach stock market trading and investing through Online Courses.

This Privacy Policy sets forth our data collection, processing and usage practices. It also describes your choices regarding use, access, and correction of your personal information.

Information we collect and why we collect it

Analytics

When you visit our Websites, we collect anonymous navigational information through the use of third party analytics software to include your IP address, your geographic location, your device information, your browser type, your referral source, length of visit and pages viewed. The third party analytics software we use includes Google Analytics (https://policies.google.com/privacy), ORBTR (https://orbtr.net/privacy-policy/), Thinkific.com (https://www.thinkific.com/privacy-policy/) and Mixpanel (https://mixpanel.com), all of which have their own policies that govern their privacy practices. We are not responsible for the practices of any third party services. Use of our Websites constitutes your agreement to this collection.

Sign-Up and Contact Forms

You are free to explore www.TechniTrader.courses without providing any personal information. Signing up for an account is required to watch certain videos, take mini courses, read articles and view full course outlines. When you opt in to watch, read or view the aforementioned, you create an account with us, which may include providing your name, email address, phone number, trading style, market experience, a private password for your login, and any questions you may have.

Submitting a sign-up or contact form constitutes your agreement to receive email correspondence from us. If a phone number is provided by the user, you are agreeing to receive phone calls or texts from us. Reply STOP to opt out of text communication. You may opt out of any email from us by clicking the link at the bottom of the email.

We use cookies or similar technologies for your convenience and to track your activity on our Websites for analytics and marketing purposes.

If you have an account and you log into this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged into that website. Embedded content is provided by Wistia, Vimeo, YouTube, TC2000, and may include others.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Who we share your data with

We may share your name and email address with one of our trusted partners only if you opt in to attend a joint webinar. When you register to attend or receive information about a joint webinar, you are agreeing to this.

Outside of these events, we do not share your Personal Data that you have voluntarily shared with us with third parties. We will never sell your Personal Information to any third party.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile for a reasonable amount of time. All users can see, edit, or delete their own personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username; contact us to delete your account completely). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we delete your account and securely erase any personal data we have stored about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

We use 3rd party services for email marketing: MailChimp, Thinkific, Engagebay, Mixpanel, Google and Swiftpage. See their individual privacy policies for more information. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party email services. When you opt in, your name and email address may be stored with these companies for the sole purpose of sending emails that we think may be relevant to you. There is a link to opt out of these emails at the bottom of every email we send.

Children

We do not seek to collect information about children under 18. If you are under 18, we request that you do not provide us with personal information about yourself without parental consent. We never create a remarketing list, retarget or otherwise profile any individuals under the age of 13, or other applicable age restrictions in the market(s) where we operate.
